Technical Support Engineer

ChefSteps is seeking a full-time Technical Support Engineer to improve the customer experience and the quality of our products.


We are a Seattle-based cooking and technology company dedicated to inspiring home cooks to cook more often and have more fun doing it. We design our software and hardware products to solve problems, boost creative instincts, and encourage experimentation in the home kitchen.


You enjoy being on the front lines: interfacing directly with customers, understanding their frustrations, and taking pleasure in solving their problems. You have a broad understanding of the technical stack and can work directly with product and engineering teams to convert customer frustrations into solutions. You are process oriented—you build processes and mechanisms to bring order to customer contacts. As an early member of the team, you are eager to build a world-class technical support organization to scale with our growing customer base.


  • Previous client-facing experience
  • A broad technical curiosity, with proven technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly and positively through written and spoken English
